Hi! It's us again! back with our Wednesday update! (Because it's totally Wednesday right?? its not? oops...)
Now that we're done sharing the Road to Ashes, and ultimately the Road to Sleepyduo, here's where we're at!
We've been crazy hard at work with some MAJOR art debt, some print design ideas we've been really excited about and well… a new minor animation project! (more details on that later though)
For people more local within Ontario, Canada; our biggest news is that some of our hand made works are available currently in Makers Mapleview and soon Makers Limeridge!! We also got a gig at Simply Gifted in Burlington! We're so hyped but also so stressed because we have a lot of sewing to do now!
Some sadder news is that due to some Meta drama, we're feeling a bit caught in the middle and unsure where to go next. it's not like we had a big following, but in-person vendor events become hard to find and get accepted to if you aren't on FB and Insta. We'll keep the platforms but we won't be posting there outside of updates on events we'll personally be attending.
The fun part is that all of this has driven us to think that maybe starting an online shop for some of our easier to ship pieces (stickers and bookmarks) would be a good idea! So keep an eye out on our Ko-fi if you've been interested but didn't want to pay the cost over on ACGGOODS. Buying from our Ko-fi/directly from us also means the items come from our Canadian sourced manufacturers! We try really hard to get stuff printed locally and so far have had great success!
We really get blown away by the love and support we get from our mutuals, friends IRL and Online. This has been a long journey for both of us and there is still so much more to it. We'll probably keep this update short as there has not been much progress on our end as of yet, but you can expect more from us as we get back on our feet properly.
